主讲人介绍：陈世炳，本科硕士毕业于北京大学，2013年在加拿大多伦多大学取得博士学位。2013-2018在美国MSRI, 澳洲国立大学做博士后研究。中国科学技术大学数学系教授、博士生导师。先后于美国MSRI和澳洲国立大学数学系从事博士后研究。长期致力于Monge-Ampere方程及其在最优传输和几何中的应用。在Ann. Math., CPAM等国际著名期刊发表论文多篇。

内容介绍：I will discuss the Rochet–Choné model of the monopolist’s problem, which is a variational problem with convex constraints. I will present recent work of Cale, McCann, and Zhang on this topic, as well as some of our own recent results and several open problems related to this model. Based on joint work with Alessio Figalli and Yi Zhang.
